Our Favorite Fall Social Media: Fast Food Edition

Fall is in the air –meaning sweater weather, festive decorations, holiday cheer, and most importantly, delicious autumn-themed food and drinks.

It’s time to get hungry with our favorite fall Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram posts from some of the most popular names in the quick service restaurant industry:



What do the holidays taste like? Well, Starbucks of course. It wouldn’t be fall without the flavor additions that pop up on the Starbucks menu during this merry time of year. This shot of a girl sporting a chunky sweater and glossy autumn nails make us want to curl up by the fire with our favorite cozy sweater and sip on one of their rich, frothy chai lattes.



Tis’ the season for French fries? Although the menu for Jack in the Box will most likely not change very much with the seasons, the play on words and clever hashtag in this Facebook post caught our eye.



Pumpkin coffee drinks, pumpkin pie, pumpkin beer, pumpkin ice cream… it seems like there is no end to the pumpkin-flavored food products. We were surprised that Dunkin’ Donuts chose this artsy fall photo over a display of their famous sweet confections.



When #FirstDayofFall went viral, Chipotle found a way to poke fun at the current pumpkin craze. It can be difficult for QSRs without seasonal offerings to get in on fall-themed social media campaigns, but Chipotle pulled it off in spades.



Playful, sweet, and relevant to the upcoming Halloween holiday, this tweet from America’s most well-known pancake stop has the perfect mix of ingredients for a successful fall social media post. It appeals to a demographic of kids (or adults) who may prefer to play with their food before chowing down this holiday.



Restaurant chain, Pizza Factory Inc., compares the color palette of autumn leaves with their scrumptious-looking slices. Other than pumpkins and sweaters, fall is also associated with back-to-school and busy schedules, which often makes pizza the ideal dinner cuisine. This post serves as a reminder that pizza is always there as an easy and appetizing option!



Ice cream isn’t typically a treat that people seek out in the colder fall weather. Yet, the trendy clothes in autumn colors, unique photo perspective, and mouthwatering triple scoop in this picture create a serious craving, chilly or not.



For many people, fall means only one thing: football season. While this post is geared toward sports fanatics, these adorable Halloween-themed donuts are stuck in our minds.

The fall season is a special time for all sorts of social media fun, mainly because we’re so fall-obsessed. Quick service restaurants, like the ones above, are smart to associate themselves with these motifs that give people positive feelings of warmth, comfort, and lightheartedness.
