This 4,905-acre community will bring some 11,000 new homes to Lathrop, California. After decades of planning and with much anticipation, the community launched its sales effort in 2014 with more than 1,000 visitors on preview opening weekend. It has since become the best-selling master plan in California.
JStokes is the branding and marketing agency, responsible for establishing River Islands as a live, work, learn destination. A multi-channel campaign was developed for each distinct audience: local Central Valley, Tri Valley and the Silicon Valley. Messaging highlighted benefits of River Islands living to each of these audiences, and a new destination was born.
River Islands won the Best Welcome Center and Best Advertising Campaign categories in the Building Industry Association Excellence Awards.
